Back in 1995 the Alberta Water and Wastewater Operators Association put together a Guideline Manual to assist Municipalities in putting together a safety program. Although this manual is out-of-date there is some demand for it and therefore the Association has converted it to a PDF file format as it will not go back into print. It must be strongly noted that some of the information contained within the manual does not meet with OH & S standards of today and therefore only use it as a guideline to producing your safety manual/program.
Alberta Human Resources and Employment, Workplace Health and Safety are continuing their efforts to update their many information publications and make them available through the internet. Many publications that were previously available as booklets are now available as bulletins that can be downloaded from Workplace Health and Safety's web site and are easily reproduced.
