OPERATORS SEMINAR

The Banff Operators Seminar will bring operators up-to-date on a variety of topics in the water and wastewater field. Speakers include operators, supervisors, technical industry representatives, and other experts in their fields. Participants can design their own learning experience from a dynamic array of educational opportunities. Informative topics will give operators the chance to review recent technical & equipment developments as well as learn how other operators are optimizing their operations.
The Operators Seminar is intended for operators, foremen, and superintendents although anyone in the water and wastewater industry is welcome to attend. This event will offer a trade show, excellent topics and speakers, networking opportunities and social interaction. As well, a special program will provide guests with a variety of activities. A preliminary list of presentations and details of the Guest Program will be made available for viewing/printing after January 31, 2011 or it can be faxed upon request.
The 2011 Banff Seminar committee is offering a $100 honorarium and Alberta Environment will award 1.0 CEUs to operators registered at the Seminar, who have papers accepted for presentation. The deadline for submitting papers is January 9, 2011. Applications are available for download here. Successful applicants will receive the honorarium and CEU credit at the conclusion of the Seminar.
PRE-SEMINAR WORKSHOPS
Four pre-seminar workshops will be offered, two on March 14 in the afternoon and two on March 15 in the the morning, each workshop will be worth 0.3 CEUs, details will be posted on this website in January 2011, with a seperate registration form and payment.

Registrations for the Seminar accepted from September 1, 2010 until March 1, 2011. Anyone who has not been confirmed as registered by March 1, 2011 will need to register in Banff. Payment via VISA, MasterCard or purchase orders is accepted for pre-registration ONLY- if you register at Banff, cash or credit card ONLY will be accepted.
